We will be having another flag retirement ceremony during the camp out at Peacock's Pond.If anyone has any flags that are unfit for use, please bring them and we will retire them correctly, with the Honor and Respect that our Flag deserves.

Hey Guys, Miss the the old troop. But where are the pictures for 2010.

District Banquet will be Tuesday Dec 9th, 7 PM @ First Presbyterian Church. Cost of the meal is $13 per person. Register by Dec 3rd EOB at the Scout Office.

District Roundtable will be Thursday Dec 2nd, St Paul UMC, 7 PM. Bring a snack food and $5 present to exchange.

Dec 3 - 5 the troop will be camping at the group site at the Cliffs. Sat Dec 4th at 8 AM, our Webelos from Pack 22 will join us. Older scouts - we need you to develop a first aid scenario for the patrols to solve (stage a mock accident) for our first aid demonstration. Also, those scouts working on Communications MB from Summer Camp should plan to work on / provide skits for the Sat Evening Campfire, etc. All scouts will break camp Sunday morning around / after 10 AM.

Recharter / membership fees of $40 per scout are now due!! There will be a $12 discount for a second or a third scout per family currently registered.

Reminder - scout meetings start back Mondays - first one is Sept 13. Matthew Stewart will be "crossing the bridge" to join Troop 222 that evening (so we can bestow upon him the insignia of membership). Matthew was awarded his Arrow of Light by Pack 9 on Aug 27th.

I would like to announce that I will be doing my Eagle Project on Saturday, September 11th. We will meet at Jim's Signs shop at 9:00 a.m., and work until about 4:00. Lunch will be provided. I hope to see you all there. Thanks for your help.

To all Scouts and Scouting Family. This Monday May 24, 2010 is Court of Hornor. Remember to bring a covered dish. Look Forward to seeing you there. This is also the last meeting of the year. Remember that summer camp is at Raven Knob this year please see or contact you're Scout master for details.

To all Scouts and Scouting Family. Remember that we are leaving from the church on Friday May 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Please remember to bring some extra money to get eats or drinks to and from the outer banks. Look forward to seeing you there!

The OA Election Committee will be at our troop meeting on Monday, May 18th at 7:00, to hold elections for new OA members. Please plan to attend, we need everyone to help elect our new Arrowmen.

All Scouts should be working to complete the Merit Badges from the college. I have the information concerning unfinished requirements.

We have 13 items remaining from our Troop popcorn sale. Contact Greg me, or one of our Scouts, to purchase. The following varities are available:

All popcorn money is due at the Nov 24 Troop meeting.

From Lake Wackena Rd. - Cross over the median and turn left on Hwy. 70 W..travel 1/4 mile and turn right at the Uzzell farm sign and follow path to the left.

From Hwy. 70 & Hwy. 111 intersection - Travel East toward LaGrange approx. 3.7 miles and make a U turn at Lake Wackena Rd. then travel 1/4 mile and turn right at the Uzzell Farm sign and follow path to the left.

From Beston Rd. - Travel on Hwy. 70 W toward Goldsboro 3/4 miles and turn right at the Uzzell Farm sign and follow path to the left.

Next Monday night is pancake supper at garris I believe
